H4, also known as 9003 or HB2 in many markets, is a dual-beam headlight bulb that combines low beam and high beam functions in one bulb. Because both beam functions share the same reflector, the position of the LED chips, shielding structure and mounting collar directly affect beam focus, cutoff and glare control.

Because H4 relies on the reflector for both high and low beams, precision engineering is non-negotiable.
The LED chips must be positioned close to the original H4 halogen filament location. Even a small change in chip height, thickness or distance from the mounting base can create dark areas, scattered light or excessive glare for oncoming traffic.
